Understanding the principle of seed

The principle of seed is what some people call the law of attraction. It is defined as reaping, what you sow. In Matthew 25, Jesus tells a story about the law/principle
of seed.

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.
  • The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more (16). The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.Come and share your master’s happiness!’ (20&21)
  • So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more (16). “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.Come and share your master’s happiness!’(22&23)
  • But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them(17). “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed?  Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. (24-27)

What does the bible say about the principle of seed?
  • Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. - Matthew 13:12
  • For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ - Matthew 25:29-30
  • Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh (The acts of the flesh are: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like - Galatians 5:19-21) .Whoever sows to please their flesh from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. - Galatians 6:7

Then how do we reap?
  • How do you attract(reap) joy ? By giving(sowing) joy
  • How do you attract(reap) peace ? By giving(sowing) peace
  • How do you attract(reap) love ? By giving(sowing) love
  • How do you attract(reap) kindness ? By giving(sowing) kindness
  • How do you attract(reap) goodness? By giving(sowing) goodness
  • How do you attract(reap) financial blessings ? By giving(sowing) financial blessings
  • How do you attract(reap) pain ? By giving(sowing) pain
  • How do you attract(reap) hurt ? By giving(sowing) hurt

Please remember that you are redeemed from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13). In Jesus, sin has no dominion over you, since you are not under the law but under grace (Romans 6:14). You are righteous, because you believe in Jesus (Philippians 3:9)When you are obedient to the voice of Jesus, he will have you sowing (planting) the fruit of the spirit, in order to receive(sow) the fruit of the spirit.
