Why do bad things, happen to good people (vice versa)?

Before you proceed, please read this article "Why would a loving God send people he created to hell?" I really hope that you read that article, it will help you understand God a lot better and why he cannot change what has been binded. Now, back to the infamous question. Why do bad things, happen to good people? Why do good things, happen to bad people?

Our definition of good and bad differs from what God's definition of good and bad is.
If God "punished" mankind based upon individuals definition of what good and bad is, he would have to punish us all. This brings me to my next point. If you are a believer, you were once was considered to bad/evil per God's word, and had he condemned you for your evilness/badness, you would perish for eternity.

God doesn't want anyone to perish, so he gives us chances to choose good.
If God didn't give even the "bad" a chance to repent, we would never have a chance for salvation. Unlike mankind, to God all sin is evil. Mankind thinks the sin of homosexuality or hatred or selfishness is less evil (sinful) than murder, and rape. God sees all sin as evil. The bible indicates that God gives nation chances to repent of their sins until, their cup has overflown.
Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? - Ezekiel 33:11
God has given mankind authority.
After reading #2, you may ask, why would God allow there to be homeless people? murderers? rapist? abusers? Firstly, God hates all evil, even the evil mankind doesn't think is evil (e.g. fornication, lying, etc). Please read the article I wrote titled, Understanding God. Secondly, God has given mankind (believers) authority in his son Jesus's name to end homelessness, to rule over evil and to stop murderers, rapists, abusers, etc. from choosing to be evil. Since God has given mankind authority, he cannot do what he authorized mankind to do. Lastly, if mankind believed the word of God, there wouldn't be any evil, as God commands two things: 1) Love God with all of their heart 2) Love their neighbor as you love yourself.
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Matthew 28:18
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. -Luke 10:18
