The church is not a church building. The church is the body of Christ. The body of Christ are the saints as depicted in the pictorials, and those who are also in the five-fold. The building is where the body of Christ meets. Why is it important to distinguish the difference between the church and a church building? So often, we think the church starts and stops on Wednesday and Sunday services. When in fact, the church never stops. The church are the individuals who are walking in light (the Kingdom of God) but are still living in the world, although they are not of the world.
Church meetings are to equip the saints for the work of the ministry [to help the saints spiritually develop], so much so that these once spiritually immature saints become spiritually mature saints who live in joy, peace, righteousness and God’s favor. Those who are living in the world are to see the church good deeds and want to also find out how to live in the Kingdom of God.
