Our identity: Before we get started, it's important to mention that when Jesus Christ was on earth physically he was all five-leadership gifts to the church; according to Ephesians 4:1-16 when Jesus ascended into heaven, he split his leadership gifts into five gifts and gave these gifts to the church for the purpose of equpping saints, unity and maturity. Is the body of Christ unified and matured? Then we still have a need for apostles, and prophets. Typically, the body of Christ understand the need for evangelist, teachers, and pastors, so I don't have to explain the need for those offices. Now that we know that Jesus Christ was all five while living on earth, we should also know that the Holy Spirit is all five as well. With this being said technically no one is an apostle, no one is a prophet, no one is a teacher, no one is a pastor, and no one is an evangelist. However, there are people in this world who are gifts to the church who stand in those offices on behalf of Jesus Christ. Jesus needs human vessels to work through, as we live in a physical world. An office in the five-fold is not who those who are in the five-fold leadership are. Rather, they only stand in those offices for Jesus Christ, when needed, after they've been called and anointed. Our identity is not the office that we stand in. Around July of 2019 the Holy Spirit revealed this to me, and that's why I stopped introducing myself as Pastor of ANJWC Church. I am not a pastor; although I stand in the office of a pastor. However, what I am is a child of God.
How this came about...
Just hours before I recorded the teaching  Gift Series 1 of 3 on July 4, 2019, I was promoted to stand in the office of a prophet. I knew I was being promoted since December of 2018 only because father told me I was being promoted. However, it wasn't until July 4, 2019 that I knew what the promotion was for. I had no idea that those in the five-fold could be promoted to stand in a different office. Btw, office promotions are totally biblical according to Luke 14:1-14, Acts 9:26-30, and Acts 14:14. Most of 2019 God was training and teaching me on how to stand in the office of a prophet. There are three things I learned:
  • From the Holy Spirit I learned that obedience should never be delayed and is more important then my comfort.
  • From Jesus Christ I learned that love is who I am, even when I am being persecuted, and that love is more important then my comfort.
  • From father I learned that standing in the office of a prophet requires my heart to be full of faith, and that faith in the word of God is more important then my comfort.
Without realizing it until two days after writing this teaching post, the trinity goal is written in Luke 17:7, and it was to get me not to stumble over the three discipleship stumbling blocks; btw, a stumbling block is defined as a circumstance that causes difficulty or hesitation. There were things the father would say to me to let me know that in the future, I'd be promoted again to stand in the office of an apostle but back then I couldn't take that news. Why? I was already suffering because of standing in the office of a prophet. I had to reject a lot of thoughts that the enemy placed in my mind about not wanting to stand in the office of an apostle, let alone even want to be in the five-fold. When I was recording the teaching: The Presence of God, an angel of God prompted me to say something about training me for the office of an apostle. I didn't want to. However, as I was speaking I kept getting an inward nudge to say it, and I finally did.

Anyways, how this came about was that an angel of God kept turning me around. Literally, my body turned around with no effort of my own. I didn't get why, by now, I should have known that it was a messenger angel. However, what is different from my previous encounters, is that usually the messenger angels would come to me when I am sleeping at like 2:00 am, and then wake me up with a kick. However, the night of Friday, February 21, 2020 it was different. I believe it was because I ignored the other visitations. Anyways, I went to the tv and was turned around and led back to my bed. An hour later I did the same thing (I stood in front of the tv), and was turned around and led back to my bed. The second time that happened I was like something is up. I said yes, Lord I am here. What is it that you want to tell me? He told me to read John 9, and when I got to verse 9, I couldn't speak, and then I started to speak in tongues. Then he started off by saying "I am with you; I have to decided." To make a long story short, as God was speaking to me he said as clear as day:

"Decide in your heart, that you will go wherever I send you."

My response was, with the blood of Jesus covered over me, and with Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and the angels of God as my witness [at that moment I had a flashback of the refiners fire], I'd go wherever you want me to go. On and off, I had been crying in my spirit, while also crying in the natural, on top of that when God spoke to me, my heart was on fire. So after I decided in my heart that I'd go WHEREVER, he said "rise." Now what happened next, I did not expect to happen. I went to sit on my bed but before I could, I was turned around and the messenger angel said "I have appointed you as my (God's) apostle."

"I love you daughter! With you, I am well pleased. You will speak to many for me, and for my name you will be persecuted, I am with you! - Jesus Christ to me on 4/3/19 at 12:30am

What is an apostle?
Definition: one sent on a mission: such as. a : one of an authoritative.

There is a difference between an apostolic ministry, and the office of an apostle. An apostolic ministry is a ministry that has an apostle present (someone who has been called, anointed, and appointed to do all four other leadership gifts), or the apostolic ministry has a teacher, pastor, prophet, and evangelist, and in addition they have the gift (not only an anointing) of miracles present. Apostolic ministries usually are stationed, and instead of going to the people, people come to them. A believer who stands in the office of an apostle is not stationed per say in one location, meaning they go to people. Note: They can be stationed in one place for a long period of time, but it doesn't mean that they will remain in that place. For example, I can be moved to Philadelphia and stay there for five years, and then be relocated to a different location. Thus, apostles are missionaries. However, not all missionaries stand in the office of an apostle. Missionaries can have an office or can be laymen/laywomen. Also, not all missionaries go to Africa or South America, just had to say that for my American brothers and sisters in Christ. There are American apostles (missionaries) who are stationed in America. 5/21/2020 corrected

Also, there is a difference between an apostle and an evangelist. Evangelist preach/heal/deliver either locally or internationally. However, they are not standing in other offices as they travel to do so, nor do they have spiritual authority to establish churches, like apostles. Evangelist usually stays in their location for less than a week. An apostle will most likely stay in their sent location for more than one season, since they are actually standing in multiple offices for a season or two, or three, or ten. Check the prelude teaching out for greater details regarding the difference.

2 Corinthians 11:1-11 I hope you will put up with me in a little foolishness. Yes, please put up with me! I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. I do not think I am in the least inferior to those “super-apostles.” I may indeed be untrained as a speaker, but I do have knowledge. We have made this perfectly clear to you in every way. Was it a sin for me to lower myself in order to elevate you by preaching the gospel of God to you free of charge? I robbed other churches by receiving support from them so as to serve you. And when I was with you and needed something, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied what I needed. I have kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so. As surely as the truth of Christ is in me, nobody in the regions of Achaia will stop this boasting of mine. Why? Because I do not love you? God knows I do!

Primary Office Focus
The office of an apostle notates that the person who has been called, chosen, anointed, and appointed by God can do all five-leadership gifts (not all at once). Since, apostles cannot do all five-fold leadership gifts all at once, it means they will stand in one office at a time per the leading of the Holy Spirit. To be clear, the office of an apostle is an office in itself. I know that I keep mentioning that apostles can stand in other offices, I want to make sure you know that an apostle is not just someone who substitutes or fill in for other offices, rather apostles serve to build up the church that they are sent to by God, and part of that building is filling in when needed. Apostles primary office is the office of an apostle. However, they have a focus office, and when God calls them to "fill in," or move around they stand in which ever office God tells them to, for that season until the church they are an apostle over is built up, and then they becomes apostles (governing) of that church. Note: Apostles only have governing authority of the church they are sent to (proof text: 2 Peter 3:2).

Apostle Peter's office was an apostle but his focus was the office of a shepherd:
  • Proof text: John 21:15-20  When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs (a young sheep).” Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, “Follow me!” Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”)

  • Proof text: 1 Peter 5:1-4 Peter is the elder of a church in Jerusalem
Apostle Paul's office was an apostle but his focus was the office of a prophet teacher:
  • Proof text: Acts 13:1-3 Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.
  • Proof text: Acts 9:26-30
  • Proof text: Acts 14:14
  • 2 Timothy 1:11-12 NJKV to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.
  • Acts 17:2 As was his custom, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures,
Apostle Barnabas office was an apostle but it focus was the office of a teacher prophet:
  • Proof text: Acts 13:1-3 Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.
  • Proof text: Acts 14:14
"But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. This will result in you being witnesses to them." - Luke 21:12-13

Requirement for a five-fold leader to be promoted to be an apostle?
  • Be appointed by God into an office: Ephesians 4:11 "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers," 1 Corinthians 12:28-30 "And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?" Note: Not everyone will be appointed by God into a five-fold office.
  • Tested: 1 Corinthians 4:1-13 This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God. Now, brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, “Do not go beyond what is written.” Then you will not be puffed up in being a follower of one of us over against the other. For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not? Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! You have begun to reign—and that without us! How I wish that you really had begun to reign so that we also might reign with you! For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession, like those condemned to die in the arena.
  • We have been made a spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to human beings.
  • We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ!
  • We are weak, but you are strong!
  • You are honored, we are dishonored!
  • To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless.
  • We work hard with our own hands.
  • When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly.
  • We have become the scum of the earth, the garbage of the world—right up to this moment.
As some point after being born-again, you would have been through all of those situations, while standing in a five-fold leadership office.

What do all apostles have?
  • Consecrated focus to God
  • Perseverance
  • Tested
  • Mature
  • Character
  • Hope
  • Signs & Wonders
  • Preach
  • Teach
  • Govern
Acts 6:1-6 Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution. Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.
2 Corinthians 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished (My notes: meaning in an apostle's lifetime) among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds.
  • Perseverance is defined as persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. Persistence is defined as firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.
  • James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
  • Romans 5:3-5 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Acts 5:12-16 Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon's Portico. None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high esteem. And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them. The people also gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

The difference between a sign and wonder is explained in Acts 2:19. Signs happen on the earth, and wonders happen on earth but from heaven (I believe this verse is referencing the first heaven, which is the sky). For example, by reading Matthew 16:3-4 we know that Jesus's death and resurrection was a sign. From reading, 2 Kings 1:10-12 we know that Elijah's fire is considered a wonder.
Mark 3:14 And he appointed twelve (whom he also named apostles) so that they might be with him and he might send them out to preach1 Corinthians 9:27 But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.
Acts 2:42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
Romans 1:5 Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith for his name’s sake.
            Levels of Apostleship
For every office in the five-fold, there is a level. The higher the level, the more you live like Jesus Christ. Not all ministers of God are on the same level, spiritually speaking. Just because a ministry is large doesn't mean their teaching/preaching is matured content. Just because someone has been a minister of the word for 40+ years doesn't mean their teaching/preaching is matured. However, it can be Godly; it can be accurate but perhaps they have a basic understanding, and that's fine. We need ministers to preach and teach at all levels. Thus the following is true:
            • There will never be an apostle like Jesus Christ - Why? Jesus Christ is Lord
            • There will never be an apostle like the 12 - Why? Was with Jesus Christ, and first apostles (pastor, teacher, evangelist, and prophet) of the church
            • There will never be an apostle like Paul - Why? First apostle (pastor, teacher, evangelist, and prophet) of the gentiles
